When not practicing law, Mr. Birzon's interest focuses on his wife and 3 children. As a member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Birzon has donated substantial time and effort in the development of The Gurwin Jewish Geriatric Institute in Commack, New York. Mr. Birzon and his wife Laurie are continuously and actively involved in charity work through The United Jewish Appeal. When time allows, Mr. Birzon enjoys sailing, competitive local sailing, Bluewater ocean racing and cycling. Through several local hospital fundraising facilities, Mr. Birzon is involved in the Long Island area hospital and healthcare system development of the underserved. |
